Here are some useful tips on how to de-stress:


- Anxious: go for a walk, this helps deactivate your amygdala


- Impulsive/ angry: look out the window or go out to an open space to widen your gaze (helps to lower noradrenaline release)


- Low motivation: to elevate your focus concentrate a fixed position for a minute (helps to release noradrenaline)


- Low self-worth/ insecure: writing positive and happy notes will help you create a more positive perspective


- Sad: be active- even a short walk is beneficial (helps to produce ‘happy hormones’ such dopamine and endorphins)


- Stressed: take a deep breath, sighing helps to reduce stress
